I have a 2018 Stinger "Premium" , and I want to see if I can swap the rear bumper with one from a GT model that has a slightly more aggressive look with the rear vents etc. I have minor damage to mine, as my neighbor backed into my car causing something on the frame to poke a hole through the plastic cover. I would imagine it would fit, as they're pretty much the same other than a few aesthetic details. I'm not sure though, so does anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

I have both trims and suspect that the premium bumper cover differs enough to make this not workable. I say this because the diffusers are totally different on both cars. what you also need to know is any difference with interior mounting points / hardware. we already know for certain that the front bumper cover on the 2.0l trims will not interchange with a gt front bumper cover.

Only reason i copied the post is you can swap em out. I had seen it done before this but you actually need to do the front clip complete and the rear as well. Mounting, i believe, is the same. Just a lot at that point with costs and paint ect... In his post he admits that its the wrong front clip. And states why if you read through. I aint starting stuff just info i have found

oof! twilight zone material there. Ima sure I read on here early into the stinger saga, more than once it came up, that the 2.0l front bumper cover is not a match either way. so, this is weird stuff. I guess that means that the rear cover fits too despite the difference in diffusers?

Gotta replace both rear bumper cover and diffuser, if you do it. It definitely makes it hard to get a different aftermarket diffuser if you have a base/premium. Actually ive never found one personally

I can't really see how it could be THAT different in the rear but I will look more into it or ask a pro/ body shop. Any other suggestions to get a more aggressive look in the rear, like the GT? Other than cutting a gt lol. I'm planning on doing that eventually, buying a GT, but I'm in the middle of buying a home so I can't be buying another new car right now. Any suggestions welcome! Def need to do something as I have some minor damage to the bumper cover. Got to go!

You might be stuck. Im sure you can swap them yourself. Just look for the parts in the same color. They may be off a shade but most will never notice if they are.
