GT JB4 w/Downpipes vs SRT 392

Only map with WMI, 8. Now I should have tweaked the Methanol setting. Might make a tiny tiny difference.
How would you tweak it?

That seems like it more or less legitimizes that video then if you needed all that just to get a nose on it.
I know we both where spinning, but I think I would have still had him by maybe half a car.

That Stinger ain't at 400whp. Plus like that dude said, he also had a passenger. Exhaust and jb4 tune does not equal 400whp I can tell you that. Maybe 370whp.

I just strapped mine down and it made 396/455 with jb4 (Map2), intakes and exhaust. I think somewhere between 370 to 400 is reasonable.

I dont disagree this was an unfair matchup and people said that SRT has hidden mods and has an e85 tune so he's probably running ~550hp. However most tuned Stingers will easily walk 392s and I've stayed side by side with a couple of them when I only had intakes.

But just FYI- A stock Stinger with a JB4 runs almost 400whp and with just one bolt-on like intakes it makes about 415whp.(Kia / Hyundai Turbo JB4 w/ Fuel Control Wires & Billet Enclosure)
I know several JB4 Stingers that dyno'd between 450-460whp with intakes and exhaust and they gap 392s by car lengths.

Maybe, but an intake, plugs and JB4 will easily break 400.

395 whp with intake and tune. on 93. stock plugs.

You can do better...
oh, I don't doubt that. This is what the car made when I bought it. I think i will get better intakes, add a good catback and hook up some WMI. leave the meow meows alone for now. for sure adding an OCC and getting plugs. IDK how the car made it 16k miles on stock plugs.

Well, if you see one with the "1320" logo on the front fender, don't race that guy. That takes the 392 to a whole other level in drag racing. They come stock with a trans-brake, adaptive suspension that lets weight transfer happen in the rear to load up the tires, DOT drag radials on lightweight wheels, etc. They will run 11.7s @ 117mph EASY right off the showroom floor. From a roll, I guess is no different than other 392s...

The 1320 is a one trick pony and nothing special away from a prepped srface, just like the mustang A10 that people quiver in fear over. I raced one before I even knew what the deal was; hard to keep up since they have what seems like 99 different editions. Just like the 392, the scat, the bee, the daytona, the hemi blabbity blah, they're certainly quick off the line in a punch-it-on-green scenario, but easy for a tuned Stinger to reel in. From a roll, forget about it, they drop anchors it seems.

Not taking anything away from what they offer, just saying all this mag racing and "don't mess with this or that because they run suchandsuch on a prepped track" is amusing. Win or lose, it's all in good fun.

I had a 392 charger. Traction was always an issue, also modding was very limited without lots of cash. It was fast but only in a straight line.

I just realized that the videos I posted in rebuttal are Chargers and not the Challengers. The 1320's can do mid 11's.

This same guy commented on another video saying he was having issues with his stinger that day and didn’t know until he took it in for service. He has another video where he pulls 1-2 lengths on a challenger scat pack from a roll.

I will have to look that up.

There you go he has some really good runs vs the challenger, 5.0 and others
