Just not enough top end on the Stinger and the torque curve needs to move upward. The rolls kill it. Though I wish the guy had intakes on it at least especially after going through the trouble of having SSR DP's and a muffler delete.

It "walked" it by 3-4 car lengths on a roll.

Maybe not stock?

Would have liked to have seen runs from a dig. Not sure the results would have been the same for 0-60.

" hey guys, we are going to head out to Mexico real quick ":devil::devil::devil:

The stinger can be much much faster ;)

Just noticed the Stinger had a passenger as well. Likely an extra 110 lb girl from the looks of it but that does not equate to the 3 car length gap.

So with intakes and 110 less lbs he might of had a better chance on the roll.

I've always felt like the srt owner either has a factory freak or undisclosed mods because he seems unusually fast for only an airbox mod; not sure I've ever seen him lose. The Stinger driver has other videos where he tipped away from SSs and 5.0s, so, I would think he would do better against a truly stock 392.

He definitely would have done better on the higher JB4 maps and with supporting mods; I certainly never had any trouble with 392s from a roll or dig....

Well that 392 certainly has an exhaust and at least a tune.
Not saying the Stinger should have won, but it surely should have been a lot closer.

I've raced 392s from a dig and roll and the results were completely different.

Well I was going to post up my video of me running a 392 from a dig at a non prepped drag fun run, but I can not seams to figure out how to attach or embed the damn thing into a post.

Hit the "upload a file" button on the lower right.

I would think so too - the strongest tune on a N/A engine maybe 90 HP?

I tried that, it does not like the ".MP4" format I guess that I can not remove.

Looks like you can only embed a link of a video uploaded elsewhere - site owner does not want to deal with the bandwidth usage. Maybe you can embed it from youtube, dropbox, or any other service. Would love to see it though.

What happened?

I tried to embed it from facebook, Ill try to upload it to youtube and do it from there.
It was a close race, it was short and you can see at the end I start to pull on him.

No, JB4, BMS intake, BMS WMI, Fuel-It sensor and I was running E32 on that run.

That seems like it more or less legitimizes that video then if you needed all that just to get a nose on it.

Hey sometimes you have to lead and pull the audience into the story and want to know, LOL!!!!
