Running the car stock on PS4S has been more than enough, but ever since I added in the Borla exhaust and Typhoon intakes....I have basically no grip if I get on it in Sport mode anymore. I live in Houston, so I'm not TOO worried about winter tires as it's only below 50 like 4 days a year here. I used to hook pretty good on launch control but now I just spin the tires and slide to the left of right until I'm in 3rd gear when I finally get grip. Even punching at highway speeds to go around the Sunday drivers who enjoy doing 45 in a 70, I slip like crazy until it finally grabs. It gets sketchy and I have to end up easing off sometimes if it doesn't hook soon enough.
Was looking at possibly throwing R888 on the rears, but honestly not sure what would be better for me right now. The car is getting spark plugs and tune some time this month too, so it's going to just make even more power...and this is my daily, so I'd like some grip when I feel like having fun. Or...should I just go for wider PS4S? Also, how wide should I be going if I'm going to be in the low-mid 400s with horsepower? I need to find wheels too because I feel like 255 just isn't wide enough...
2020 GT1 RWD running what the dealer had on - 255/35ZR19 in the rear, 235/35ZR19 in the front.
