That is exactly my point. Focus on the difference in pricing from MSRP but also remember to factor in the cost of whatever location a person is in. Buying any normal economy vehicle, for example, will normally be more expensive in New York city or Beverly Hills than in some rural part of Virginia or Louisiana... but certain parts or even certain states seem to just upcharge regardless... things always seem to be more expensive "just because" even adjusted for tax rate in California and New York... probably since they are Socialist States lmfao!
Upstate NY has very competitive pricing [I know because I lived there most of my life]. You were correct about using zip codes, then forgot to apply that to your own line of thinking. I'm not familiar with CA's car markets, but assume rural areas as you explained would have lower sticker pricing due to lower incomes of that area.
Yes, both of those States are 'socialist' leaning. Thankfully for me, when I needed assistance through a hard time a few decades ago I lived where I did. Had that happened while I was living in "F$&# You" Nevada I would have been left to die in a proverbial economic culvert. I guess I'm saying that negative talk about socialism is unwarranted, the idea is to help others and in doing so help raise everyone's quality of life. We're all a bit pampered when it comes to social stability, because we've largely been sheltered from true instability for a long time. If society collapses, we're all screwed. Be happy someone out there cares for someone other than themselves.
