The "2" is evidently because the preferred plate was already taken, so "Queen Bee Number 2" had to suffice. The placement of the "2" is clever and catches attention.

Anyway, some Aussie will chime in with the real meaning and make mine look silly.

Damn, I think you got it. I had to morph mine away from the more obvious because either not allowed under regulations, or already taken. You continue to be a valuable source of elucidation, Merlin. Magician, indeed!

No you were correct Merlin. We only have limited combinations we can have. For instance two letters followed by two numbers and vice versa. Also 3 letters and two numbers and vice versa so you have to make the numbers count as letters eg. 7= T, 3=E, 4=A, 1= I, 5=S, 8=G & 9=G.

Not a funny plate, but way back on my first registered car, The "random" generic plate that was given to me by my state literally had part of my Social security number on it. I was pretty pissed when I noticed it a year later.

My female friend had a random CA plate with "DYK" on her Subaru, which was noticed by many, much to her amusement. Now on a Chevy Malibu it doesn't get a mention, lol.
