Funny license plates.

You're not using your "phone', you're using the camera. (I know, cracked record.)
At least here in California, it's still considered distracted driving, so be careful while you're down here!

Holding a phone and performing any function, playing music, checking maps, taking a photo etc is sufficient for you to qualify as a donor. I’m actually ok with these laws. Other than the odd surreptitious photo I never touch my phone while driving and there have been plenty of road fatalities linked to mobile use to warrant the size of these fines.

Edit: I should have made it more clear that these aren’t new laws as such; the associated fines have just been substantially increased.

Well, I take pictures with an actual camera. I've got a handy Sony Cybershot that usually takes focused snapshots without hassle. And who would know? Unless I travel through a nanny state that monitors my every move with cameras, I'm probably safe. It isn't totally Kalifoяnia yet. Afaik.

What about Gelded?
Can't see any Mustang owners going for that one :rofl:
I would probably drive off the road because I would be laughing too much.

KARMA4J on, I think, a Honda Odyssey. You should've been a better person, J! Karma gave LJ a Stinger. ;)

Also, LUVNDH8. I think it was a Honda Accord Sport.

Finally got nailed for speeding with my 'HI OFSR' plates. Actually, I usually drive a few mph below the limit, but this time I was in a hurry. The officer said the plates made her laugh. I'm sure all the drivers that went past me appreciated the irony.

It was a woman. Hah. I've been pulled over five times since I got the Stinger; that, in itself, is some kind of record in my driving career. But only the one woman cop cited me. The guys all enjoyed seeing my car up close, I reckon; warnings only.

I've only been stopped twice, both by women. both mentioned the plates--not the car.

Leaving a play tonight, first saw GVM HEL on a Jag sedan. Then, very appropriately for the occasion, APPLAUS on a Volvo wagon.
