I have attempted to remove my fuel door on my 19 stinger with no success. It looks like it would pope out somehow but I have pulled really hard with no luck. Im afraid of breaking it. There must be a proper way to get this to release. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks I have seen this. But just not enough info for me. I tried what he did with no success. Anyone else done this. Just need more info. I’m concerned about breaking something.

The video explains it and shows how to do it. I can't imagine you'll get much more information than what's provided there. The fuel door has 2 small posts holding it in place and no doubt will need a good amount of force to dislodge it with a trim tool. You need to pry from the bottom upwards as close to the bottom post as possible so that the force is applied in the correct spot. I wouldn't attempt this without a trim tool just by pulled with your hands or you will almost certainly break it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Anyone knows how to remove this with out breaking anything?

There should be a few on u-tube
I removed mine without breaking the original fuel door. I wedged my plastic trim removal tool in by the fuel door hinge to pop it out of place then man handle it out. I'm surprised it didn't break.

Just take the whole bucket out with the door. Pretty sure its just a bunch of small bolts.

Just do it. You're replacing the door anyway if you break it no big deal
You are correct, i doesn't matter. Hell i broke mine:laugh::laugh:
