Thanks bro. If I shift the plate to the left would I have to drill new holes in the license plate to account for that moving it to the left?Looks good! ...You should be able to shift the plate (to the left?) to avoid blocking the sensor
My backing plate is shifted furthest to the right to avoid the sensors if I was standing straight on in front of the car .hmmm No holes on the backing plate to move it out of the way? (backing plate to tow hook bolt)
Got a link to the one you got? Been wanting to move mine over since they drilled it in the middle so going to then have to fill in the drill holes next lol
Have any pics of it flush to the car ? This seems like the closest I can get it.Take off the plate and just move the mounting screw that secures it to the post, put plate back on. Also you might want to see if you can move the plate closer to the bumper, someone is gunna trip over it and bend it sticking out like that.
How do you get it flush ?^^^What Rod said, the plate is out there too far. If you pull it back flush with the bumper cover, the sensors shouldn't have a problem then.
Might be just the way that that kit is. I had one that had a couple of different length mounting bolts.Have any pics of it flush to the car ? This seems like the closest I can get it.
Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. The tow hook license late I purchased was for the genesis but I read on another forum Kia forum online that this would be good. That website I got this from does have a stinger one as well but didn’t catch it until I already made the Purchase for the genesis one.Might be just the way that that kit is. Check out this gts Porsche that lives in my development. He has the front tow hook as well and his plate sticks out some . I’ll live with itMight be just the way that that kit is. I had one that had a couple of different length mounting bolts.
I'm thinking a different brand, possibly dedicated Stinger plate attachment. I know I've seen pics of Stingers with the plate backing the bumper cover, not sticking out like that. Here's one, you can tell that the upper left corner of the plate is touching the bumper cover:How do you get it flush ?
I also see a nip tie securing it firmly making it flush . I might try that lolI'm thinking a different brand, possibly dedicated Stinger plate attachment.
