Not water...oilMaybe like that to allow water to run away easy.
I don’t expect oil leaks so I stick with road water drainage....Not water...oil
There are six bolts and two push-pins that hold that panel below the oil pan. I'd suggest either doing your own oil changes or use a dealer so you know things get put back properly.

Similar problem... Took it to the dealer and had them look at it. They said there aren't any attachment points on that part of the plate. They also said there was a crease in it like it had been pulled down, but no sign of an impact point like I'd hit something. They ordered a new one and will replace as soon as it comes in. I haven't hit anything and no oil change or service yet.
Thats funny...assuming the dealer will do it properly!!There are six bolts and two push-pins that hold that panel below the oil pan. I'd suggest either doing your own oil changes or use a dealer so you know things get put back properly.
Those noticing this issue - have you had your first oil change yet?
Hi iceman25c, can you put your location (state) in your profile so we know what area your from thanks!Nope. Only 600 miles.
I have the same problem. My front most panel dropped down (sagging) & then it clipped something on the road & tore looseSo I just happened to look under the car and I see a what appears to be a sagging skid plate. I am curious if this is normal. I don't have a lift but i can't tell if there are even mount points. View attachment 5639
Too late for me, my front panel dropped down in a V shape & caught on debris & tore loose! Its a nightmare! I refuse to turn in an insurance claim because the panel should’nt have been made out of cardboard, shouldnt have come loose & frankly i shouldnt be dealing with this issue!Thats funny...assuming the dealer will do it properly!!
The real problem here is that there are no attachment points and the material is somewhat flimsy fiber board.
Get under the car and one can see more easily the cost difference between Kia and the "Germans"
