Hello, my front lip is bolted in. However in the middle of our bumper there’s that somewhat soft part under the grille where the lip is bolted into. The screw in the middle of the lip keeps pulling out of that soft area. You can see this in my pics.

Any recommendations on how to keep the screw in? Maybe a small amount of gorilla glue? I’m worried this may destroy it though if I take the lip off.

Thanks

Use a larger screw? If the OE one is stripped, that's what I'd try first.

That lip is a poor quality lip kit. Middle portion is too flexible, and also creates enough downforce to pull the bumper portion off. With stronger screws the bumper starts detaching from the grille at higher speeds lol. I had the same one in fake cf

Yeah it wasn’t very expensive. It most likely is the cause. Thanks man.

Jeez Louise how fast are you going? At 155 I didn't experience any "detaching" or even deforming. The guy in my current avatar, @Salman , pushed above 167 MPH and showed a pic of his bumper cover pushed down below the lower grille. Is that what you're talking about?

edit: A clarification, @Salman, after initially discovering the deformation, tested the lip disassembling again, and it did so at over 150 MPH: so, clearly this can happen at different speeds with different Stingers:

Yep thats what my lip looked like. The only way to run a front splitter is either a real one piece solid one or one with those rods that hook up to the bumper. The cheap ebay flimsy ones suck

JBweld something together? That's a drastic and permanent solution. Guaranteed never to separate or come apart.
