Anyone else had fitment/rubbing issues with their front bumper cover and headlights?

I FINALLY got my car back after 3 weeks, for paint chips that were there when I bought the car.

Kia thought it was a bad batch of bumpers, but I think the fitment is off, since a day after repaint the paint is pushed on the bumper cover, where it meets the innermost part of the headlight housing.

Does anyone know if this is easily adjustable? I REALLY REALLY don't want to take my car back to the dealer, if at all possible.

This has been a much discussed issue. At the time, I went to "my" dealership and examined the 16 or so Stingers on the lot: my findings are in this folder on Dropbox: stinger paint You will notice the relative commonality of the headlight assembly nicks exactly where yours are: nearly all of them at the time were driver's side only (a strange feature that has no known explanation). My hypothesis is that the extreme forward, lower corner rubs because of the vibration over time; but it could simply be the fitment of the bumper cover against that area of the headlight assembly: i.e., a design weakness in either case.

A permanent solution would be to remove the bumper cover and put a small patch of PPF on that spot.
