Floor mats, which ones and why?

i would get Maxpider 3D mats (had them in prev car and really liked them), but my Stinger came with the OEM rubber ones, so i'm just gonna stick with them.

i had Weathertechs in a prev car and my wife's car, and while they did their job, they looked like they belonged in a Jeep, and they could never be fully cleaned. i tried pressure washing them, various cleaning products, scrub brushes, but once they get dirty, they don't ever get looking like new again. the only way i got them looking nice again was to spray them with bumper black, but i'm not doing that every time they need cleaned.

never had Tuxmat, but heard they are good, so i'd say Maxpider 3D's or Tuxmat ...

Chemical Guys Rubber mat renew does a great job, also McKey's 37 Floor Mat & Cargo Liner Rejuvenator

Maxpiders look better, clean up easier with no special products, and are cheaper than Weathertech ... no brainer.
Maxpiders look great but aren't as durable though. Had a pair in my old G37 Coupe for 2 years and they wore out on the driver side pedal area vs my current WeatherTech floorliners which are 3 years old.

almost 4 years in my Q60 RS, still look new.

i may bite on the Tuxmats, though - they do look nice.

I had upgraded to the diamond stiched mats but recently switched to Tuxmats and I love them. They are best mats to cover and protect your interior
I have the Tuxmats also and highly recommend them. Perfect fit and top shelf construction and protection.

I saw a floor mat set (front and rear) on Amazon called Omac. Looks similar to weathertech but cheaper in price.

Anyone try theme out. I still cant post links or PMs so can link yet.

They also have a cargo mat too.

I am considering them myself but some additional opinions would help.

so i went and got the Tuxmats - they are excellent. can't speak on how they clean up (doesn't look like they will be a problem), but the coverage, fitment, and looks are top-notch.

Tuxmats - best coverage, best looks, cleaning-?
Maxpider 3D - good coverage, good looks, easy cleaning
Weathertech - good coverage, looks like they belong in a 4x4/truck, still look dirty after thorough cleaning

still have Weathertechs in my wife's car. the only way i've found to get them looking new-ish again is to spray them with bumper black after cleaning. extra steps and products needed to make look nice ... <thumbs down>

Hmmmm, now you are making me rethink my options.

Reconsidering the Maxpider 3D mats again since they do look more "stylish" and less "rugged". Tuxmats are still on the more expensive side for me and they don't have a matching cargo mat.

i guess one benefit of the Maxpider mats over Tuxmat is that they are much easier to remove for cleaning. the Tuxmats need to be "installed" - they literally cover the entire floor area, rear floor hump, and go up the sides of the center console and door sills. little clips hold them in place and they're well designed, but not as easy to just pull out. i intend to just wipe them down with a rag for routine maintenance, and only pull them out if they get really filthy.

i went with the OEM Stinger cargo mat - its nice and has the Stinger logo on it. doesn't even trigger my mild OCD because you can't view the cargo mat and floor mats at the same time to realize they aren't matchy-matchy :D

Stock carpet mats in the summer because orange owners get orange stitched mats and I gotta flex that.

Weathertech in the winter. Heavy salt use here which will turn your carpet to white concrete.

Mine came with the OEM rubber mats. for the seats.
Considering something rubber for the trunk. Weathertech or otherwise. Any suggestions?

Can't go wrong with the OEM trunk tray
