Long story if you guys interested:

I had Stinger on mind since YouTube reviews came up, I went to one of the Stinger events (new everything about the car that time, I was super obsessed). Decided to wait a little that time.

Then after a year started having second thoughts:
Having second thoughts about getting one

Started finding good deals on 2018. Went to a place to get Lelith Auto park Kia to see theirs (had planned to look at used Genesis, GS 350, WRX and stinger that day).

The dealer offered me decent deal, 2k off MSRP, 2k for my trade in which everyone quoted to be 1k. Everything seemed okay, finalized it. Dealer did not had car, he said, he is going to get one from Virginia. But they he kept delaying for few days and I had to go to India for a month. I filled dispute on credit card as dealer didn't keep his word on delivery date.

After coming back, I contacted few more dealers. Got Costco price as well (3.5k off MSRP). I got in touch with the previous dealer again, he said car can get there in 2 days and I can come finish paper work now. I told him, no, I want to see the car first. He got the car, it had 240 miles on it, it was 1st of December, I thought lease incentive might go up, decided to wait for few more days. Went back on 4th, lease rebates were same. Decided to ask for 3.5k off MSRP, 2k for trade in. Went in, the paper he gave me had 4k off on MSRP already and 1k for trade in.

After negotiation I go,
3.5K off MSRP
1600 on trade in (600 above what everyone quoted)
Remote start installed for free
Cargo tray Seat backs for free

Here's the car:

Sadly, since car is traded from VA, it has front licenses plate bracket.

Congrats! When did you get it? I saw a white one on Morrisville last week.

Same Color combo for me. Nice! Enjoy that thing!

Very nice! The color combo I want, but not available on the `18. Honestly, with the discounts we're already seeing on the `19s, one would be inclined to spend the extra $1500-2000 to get the exact color they want.

Good color combo , my car also had the front lic plate bracket installed
It cost me 300.00 to get the front bumper holes plugged and color matched , i tried living with it but it just bugged me to much

I saw few 2018 in that combo though it wasn't officially offered in US. I think spending extra might be worth as with color of your choice you will get newer features too.

I wouldn't spend that much on it. Would may be put my name on there.

Stick some white plastic plugs in the holes. They have a domed top and are used to cover holes in cabinetry, sheet metal, etc. They come in a variety of hole sizes, and will blend right in with the bumper.

Holy cow, they needed to drill 7 holes to hold the front license in?
Yeah, looks like somebody just got way stupid on the drill - two holes should have been enough.

If it were me, I'm afraid I'd be ponying up for filling/repainting that mess - maybe the dealer can help you out and give you a break with the cost using their body shop. It's a pretty simple job ...

You Didn’t go for Costco price on the ‘19?

I cringe, sir! And it isn't just because you have a licence plate in front; but because here in Utah we are supposed to have a front one; I do not; and sitting in our "mail to give to kids" rack is a letter to our daughter (who still has a lot of mail delivered to the house), from Salt Lake City, stating that she was recently cited in a parking area for not having a front plate; and the fine as it stands is $70, but will go up if she does not respond; and will be taken out by a collection agency if she does not respond after that. Rapacious basturds. And now I don't want to go anywhere near downtown SLC because some officious revenue cop is on the prowl.

Will try asking him, don't have high hopes though.
