What is the exact type/name of this oval version of the Akrapovic tip? A link to the part is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just bought a 2020 GT and it has the MRBP exhaust with stock tips. Just ordered the AliExpress stainless tips but now see the comments about single wall tips and melting. Do I eat the cost of the AliExpress ones and order double wall tips or am I over thinking this? Appreciate the help with my indecision!
It will be fine-ish. Where the tips touch the opening, it will melt a little bit of it.
So when you going to put it on. Make sure it’s where you want it.
I had about 38k miles on them SS tips and it’s only a little of the opening got melted
Where is visible (tips) will be fine.
See attached pic, recent pic taken.. The SS are still in great shape but it’s hard to tell b/c it’s dirty.

Get the double wall otherwise your just passing the heat from the exhaust pipe to the tip then to the bumper.

Got my tips installed. What a difference it makes in sound, especially in the cabin. The look is what it should have been out of the production line.

I have MBRP exhaust with carbon fiber tips that are cracking and fading. Was thinking about doing either gloss black or dark chrome tips. Is there any recommendations outside of alixpress that people are running and good quality?
Yea i would look at ebay honestly. That's where i got my tips. Pretty good quality too mostly from china.
Here is the ones i had on before but since mine is a 23 gt2 that has oval exits i ended up changing it to something else thay fit far better yet didnt rub against the exit as i tried 5 inch outlets and they were touching the exits. Would cause vibration, rubbing or damage the bumper.
Since you have a 2020 yours is not the oval exits. You need round ones.
Round tips:
You can also go for these without the blue colored tips, just chrome:
Just make sure you choose correct inlet size 2.5" and then i assume 4 inch would be ok or maybe 3.5. I would measure the exits on your car.
This is what I am running on my car now with borla active catback (2.25 inlet 4.5 outlet). Looks great and they look like good quality too:
At least we have good options on ebay. Just takes a while to get the darn tips. But yeah mine look great and they help with drone and make a difference in sound as well so it doesn't bounce back in the rear bumper. Attached picture of them.

This is false!!!
18-21 has oval exits. As does 22+, has bigger oval.
For 18-21 oval tips is perfect fit, would need outlet to be 105mm
Round tips would have to cut/trim the opening of the diffuser, outlet would need 89mm or 3.5in
For 22+ oval is a tight fit but no trimming or cutting needed. Outlet is 130mm
Round tips would be 114mm or 4.5in, but would need to cut and trimming

As I have a 2020. Have MBRP exhaust and paired with aftermarket Stainless Steel tips 63x105 oval.
Then did the 2022 lower diffuser conversion.
At first, did black CF oval tips 63x130. But did not like the look. (Too dark on a dark car)
Then swap out the 63x130 oval tips for 63x4.5in round tips and had to cut/trim into the opening, love them now.

Oh nice! Do you have a link to those 4.5 tips?
Also any pics from the tail not from the side, but straight forward. I want to see if they look too big for my taste. Thank you!
