So one of the main things I would like to do at some point in the future is a cat-back system (preferably) or an axle back for my Stinger that isn’t crazy loud or aggressive but complements the style of the car with a bit of sound and rumble.

I have searched a lot one only found a few options.

-Magnaflow
-OBX
-Maximizer

All of these are stainless steel which I’d like since I live in an area that sees snow and ice, but other than the magnaflow it’s hard to find info/sound clips of the others.

So what are you guys using and what’s your thoughts? Also has anyone heard of the other option (OBX, Maximizer) or know of others to look for?

I am now looking at catbacks for my 2.0 and am also researching Magnaflow, OBX and Maximizer. Leaning towards the Magnaflow even at double the costs of the other two. Was close to going with OBX but came across some reviews mentioning a lot of rattling. I think a good shop can prevent this. As of right now.....Magnaflow is my leading choice. I wish MBRP w/resonators would do one for the 2.0 since the 3.3 version runs $600. Will post when I make decision and purchase around July.

While there are hundreds of pages on exhausts it's mostly for the 3.3, not nearly as much for the 2.0. I think the only discussions with video or audio clips for 2.0 are Magnaflow, ARK, Jun Bl and deletes. TBH they all sound very similar watching on video, hard to really get an impression of the rumble you feel in person. More people adding to the discussion with their impression verses other cars and exhausts would help. I have a 2.0 with Magnaflow catback, if anyone in the Atlanta metro area with a 2.0 wants to get together for a comparison I'm up for it.

Any issues with the install and alignment? Read on a forum review that a 2.0L owner couldn’t get the tips to line up and that sound wise, if wasn’t much louder at mid to high revs.

I had a shop install it and I believe they had to make some adjustments but couldn't say for sure if there were alignment issues. My shop cut off the tail pipe end piece and welded on longer pieces to extend out to the fake tips to cut out drone and works perfectly.

As far as sound goes I've read that the Magnaflow for the 3.3 is barely any louder than stock but on the 2.0 it's massively louder. In the higher range on full boost it's very very loud.

Actually, I need to qualify that answer. I have a K&N intake and running a Racechip GTS Black with a special tune that you have to ask for understanding it's only for 93 octane or above. Without those extras it may not be as loud.

It was a toss up for me as well regarding at catback for my 2.0. I had decided on the Magnaflow and started looking for a shop that could install once I bought it. I came across a post about a shop in Texas. Then a thread narrowed the shop down to Fort Worth called Kinney's. I found out they do custom exhausts and even have sample vids of many makes and models. I went the route of a custom install catback and got the Street Demon package. I just recorded vid of the "After", but strangely I can't find the "Before" vid from 2 weeks ago.

Feedback for the Street Demon package is a positive one, however, there is quite a bit of interior drone. I did notice that the quad pipes from the exhaust barely make it into the built in quad tips on the car. I will have to get them extended further in in a week or so. The exterior sound is a bit on the aggressive side but overall sounds great. I haven't really got a chance to feel for any performance gains but plan to Dyno in the next 2 months.

Here is a link to YouTube video for the after install.
