Exhaust Debate

Great. Please create a thread in the DIY section called “how to deal with a raspy exhaust” because it’s generic and not specific to the MBRP exhaust.
No because it wasn't a discussion that started in a vacuum. It was a discussion that started the the MBRP exhaust being raspy.

What I find interesting is the peanut gallery whining about off topic posts and providing spectator commentary on how "pointless" the discussion. Yet you have almost a whole page now of snide needless comments, seemingly without irony, whining about thread jacking.

If you think we are having a pissing contest, that's your opinion on the matter, but at least we are having a pissing contest about exhaust systems in a thread about an exhaust system.

My opinion is if you want to have a discussion in an forum about an exhaust system, maybe something about an exhaust system should be mentioned in the post at least once. That would be more productive then sitting here whining about how a particular discussion isn't on topic enough for you because it meandered into a technical discussion.

I agree about the whining, thread jacking, and irony.

WOW...WOW ... way to hijacked the thread here gang .... there is ONE thing that annoys me the most about forum is ENDLESS thread like this.

I created the thread because I didn't want (myself of other members) to read through 4000 posts and 50 pages of unrelated information and this is what this page has become.

We already have multiple post of ppl asking about what tip size and whatnot where all the info is already here, soon to be buried by other exhaust conversation. Why aren't we trying to keep on subject and post elsewhere more appropriate.

Please @Kia Stinger clean up the last pages :geek::geek::geek:

So I am looking to do electric exhaust dumps on the stinger. I am looking to add them to the secondaries either right before the second cat, or if I don't have the room I will remove the cat and put this kinda in its place. Does anyone know of anyone doing this yet?

Do it right before the precats. Dump it straight out the side for max coolness lol. Mine has cutouts but I'm not even sure how to operate them. They are right before the mufflers. Stick out a bit, speed bumps will destroy them I think.

^That wouldn't work....there is literally no room. I know you were joking, but still, in case anyone has any ideas. Lol.

Personally, I would put them right at the end of the primary downpipes, and/or where the secondaries bend upwards to attach to the primaries. This would remove all of the exhaust restriction, minus the primary cats. I don't know if it's really worth it, but nonetheless it would be really cool (and loud).

That almost would have been a great place, but with the underskirt I would have to figure out how to run it thru it, I think. Here is where I am thinking and using stock secondaries.

And I forgot but it should pick up some ponies and spool a little faster.
