I'm again surprised not to see MBRP on here. In my searching today for an exhaust I've had MBRP come up very often.

The tips are really the only thing that will help with the drone. My thinking behind the downpipes is eliminating a lot of the extreme high pitched sound the borla makes, imo should be more comfortable to drive with.Yeah but the guy you told to get silenced downpipes to has factory downpipes doesnt he? The silenced aftermarket downpipes are still going to be less restrictive and louder than stock so I agree it's not good advice for him to go get any of the aftermarket downpipe options if he wants a quieter exhaust and less drone. Thd best advice to him is to get the tips and or have a shop add a resonator in the borla midpipe...
Now thats what I'm talking about! I just stated that a minute ago on a different post within this thread. What about MBRP? I am seriously considering this catback
Ahh, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.MBRP is relatively new to the Stinger. When that chart was made they didn't have an exhaust system for Stingers.
Thanks you for the advice. I'm going to work the exhaust tips piece first. The drone is so loud now it's hard to differentiate between straight drone/reverb noise and exhaust noise. All exhaust systems mellow a bit after a few months, carbon deposits inside the pipes to be exact. The tips are cheap fortunately so that should help with the drone. Also, consider silenced downpipes from Quicksilver which would replace the pipes infront of your catback and should tone down some of the harshness.
You may have just sold me. I'm tired of aimlessly searching for information on all these brands. You would think I'm psychotic by all the notes and comparatives I've accumulated.I honestly think the MBRP is the best bang for your buck. It's cheaper than the other exhaust systems. Makes great sound. I have it on my stinger. Drone isn't a problem when cruising in city. There is a bit of drone on highway but you just get the exhaust tips to control that.sounds awesome.

You guys won't be disappointed. Just make sure the pipes are as far into the fake tips as they can go, or order replacement tips now so they'll get here in time. I find myself driving my car just to hear my MBRP.I caved and purchased MBRP last night from K8 stinger store. Can’t beat the price for a SS quality exhaust with helmholtz resonators. Now, it’s a waiting game...
If I may, what did that cost? You know by chance if the 2020 fits 21's?I caved and purchased MBRP last night from K8 stinger store. Can’t beat the price for a SS quality exhaust with helmholtz resonators. Now, it’s a waiting game...
It was 10% off, $855 free shipping. Yes, the 2021 3.3 TT is compatible as well.If I may, what did that cost? You know by chance if the 2020 fits 21's?
Yeah I ended up getting MBRP after all my research. It really sounds good. If you don't live where it snows, I'd recommend looking into Magnaflow as well. It was between MBRP or Magnaflow for me. MBRP won because it cost less and it offered T-304 stainless steel. Definitely get exhaust tips for highway drone. I might be exaggerating drone it really isn't that much. On city drive I cannot hear anything in cabin. Highway it's a little bit... Maybe I'm just picky. You may have just sold me. I'm tired of aimlessly searching for information on all these brands.
