2.0T engine skipping a beat at idle

as the title says , it's like a popping or sporadic skip ( exhaust note) . When driving the little lurching I'll get at speed off the accelerator.......smooth as silk under acceleration. Engine light on dealer will be getting a call......I'm kinda worried what they will say about the cai, the big mouth induction and the catchcan installed

Your vehicle has been through the mill (before it ever came to you, as I recall?). How has it been holding up? I'm guessing pretty good, if you are infrequent in talking about any "issues"; and this is the first one in months on months, on the forum.

Bad gas? Probably not, or it would skip on acceleration too.

Wiring harness (somewhere) starting to go south?

Actually right on all countse it was done. . I suspect plugs. But it seems more ecm oriented. The harness recall was already done with less than 5000 k sinc

naw , well I could move it up now, I guess...(staying home with the wife,she got sick where she works)....but the 10th is a scheduled day off....no hurry or worry here.......she's doing well btw.

At the Kia dealer. Broken spark plug ngk crap. Getting a fresh set see how much this is. 100 dollar deductible. Used car warranty. Only reason I took it was it mirrors the 10 year 100 k warranty

They replaced all 4 plugs and didn't write me up one thin dime, Gotta throw them a pizza with sausage and pepperoni!!

Dealer replaced all 4 plugs for free? Not bad for not having an original warranty. 5 star review for sure. Those where stock gapped stock plugs?

naw I was running ngk's (hotter) plugs........they shit canned them for the oem........,my lap 3 is in the closet.

Probably should have used desmos or HKS. However mine has 17k miles on stock with the pressertech stage 2 and runs fine according to the previous owner. I'm still replacing them.
