Engine oil cooler vs upgraded intercooler (bms)

What is the difference between upgrading to a intercooler and the engine oil cooler kit w secondary radiator offered on k8? I understand the intercooler is to help with heat soak and keeping temps low but what about the engine oil cooler ? @K8 Stinger Store
Any help would be much appreciated.

I wouldn't bother with the oil cooler unless you track the car.

Intake temps are more consistent with my mish intercooler. I would get the trans cooler before the oil cooler.

The engine oil trans cooler comes with an optional second radiator . I know that second radiator isn’t that big but paired with the stock intercooler is it on the same level as just upgrading to a better intercooler ?

Are you talking about the trans cooler or the engine oil cooler? They are different. I would upgrade the stock fmic before doing any oil cooler. Not saying engine and trans temps are not important in the long run, but intake temps are definitely more important for power.

The intercooler is the first thing you want to upgrade on stingers. It reduces air intake temps significantly and decreases detonation possibility (especially if you increase the boost)
