UPDATE: So when I got home from work, I made an attempt at sanding it with 2000 grit (wet). Another L taken… I will be having it repainted next week, holes filled for a quote of $900. I also am considering just removing all badges from the car, totally badge-less.
refinishing takes several different grits and compounds. but yeah professional paint correction might be the better bet at this point. At least now you can go badgeless if you want.
