Thats pretty damn cool. I wonder if you can set it to raise at certain speeds and how it looks in the down position.

more moving parts. vanity. more noises. looks pretty cool though.

you have more info on this? Im trying to view the video but i cant. Thanks!

The question is are they doing R&D to release the product publicly or is this just a one off custom job that someone made.

Hi Guys,

This got posted into one of our Australian stinger groups a couple of weeks.
All the links are dead except for a market place ad which uses the images you guys have posted above.

As I'm a new forum member I can't drop the link here.

I'd definitely be interested if it actually becomes a thing, but a little bit suss on it until I can see more information.

Super cool and super expensive, but that doesnt shock me. I'd imagine any car that comes with a factory one would cost that or more to replace.

So somebody is attempting this but we can't get a factory looking hood with either functional scoops or heat extractors?

this same poster of this wing also posted a video of a hood with vents that open and close... dunno why you would ever want them closed...
only thing i dont like is they said both wing and hood vents were operated with a remote control... be a lot nicer if it was automated in some way.

Reminds me of my '94 Corrado that had a spoiler that came up at 90 km/h (just over 55 mph). Or, there was a manual switch in the front that would let you raise / lower it whenever you wanted.

Many of them eventually failed. Mine never did (maybe I used it enough :-), but my sunroof did (another common problem)..

I had an old g60. The spoiler was so small but one of the coolest features of that car.

I'm pretty sure that workshop is in China. They only have the 2.0 model and it got discontinued after two years maybe due to low sales. I'm surprised that there are still people doing mods on it, not a lot of people know about the car in China.

In many ways, the Stinger feels like a stretched Corrado to me, with a bit more rear legroom. And less quality-control problems..
