Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and Sway Bar Review w/ pics

I was thinking about spacers too as a temp flush fix until i get new wheels... curious on anyone’s thoughts on using spacers
To match exactly the fender line you need 15mm spacers in the rear but the original pins(?) are too long and you need to either
1. dig a small hole inside the wheel
2. cut off few mm off the pins (irreversible)
Some people go 18mm spacers to avoid that but then the wheels protrude a little bit.

Tires protruding from the wheel wells is a good thing.

@DaJackson do you think just doing the springs, as opposed to springs and sways, would make the ride noticeably stiffer as compared to a Stinger from the factory? From what I’ve read, sways add to the suspension being stiffer, am I right? Thanks buddy!

Ride stiffier.....springs and dampers
Handling with more control....sway bar
I have understood.....

I would disagree that the springs and sways make the car significantly stiffer. The sways will only impact flex of the suspension, so going down the highway and hitting a bump, no sways or upgraded sways won’t make a difference.

The springs get no stiffer than Sport feels with stock springs. It’s still has the GT feel that can eat up highway miles but feels more composed in the corners.

Any reason why you chose eibach over h&r? I am trying to find compression rates on the 2 to compare. Thx for all the great info!

I knew I wanted sways as well so having a set of Springs and sways developed together was a positive. Also I think the Eibach was a bigger drop, not by much though.

I’ve had both on other cars and both are quality parts.

Thanks for the detailed feedback.
I said it does because I read few people saying that the ride got stiffer after the sway bar but maybe it is just a false impression

If they are talking about articulation then yes it’s stiffer but that’s not really going to impact ride quality.

@DaJackson...may I ask you these questions?
1) Since you installed the Eibach's suspension products 3 months ago, the car drops even more than 1"??
2) The alignment adjustment was made on the rear wheels camber only???...it seems there is not adjustments on the front ones.
3) Are the front springs linear and the rears are progressive???

I appreciate your reply in advance

1) I’ve not reseasured in awhile, I did have someone mention the other day that thecrear lookedvto be sitting a bit lower.

2) I’m not sure, I just had the alignment shop make sure everything was in alignment.

3) I was under the impression all 4 are progressive.

As I've just finished personally installing these this weekend, I can comment on On 2 and 3.

2. On an AWD at least, I don't see a way adjust front camber or caster. All suspension components that could allow for camber adjustment( Spindle to strut mount, lower control and compression arms) are fixed with no adjust-ability. Toe adjustment is an option as the tie rod allows for it.
Rear is adjustable for both camber and toe. I'm going to get the car on an aligment rack soon and measure where it is now, and see what cant be done. Sometimes just the play in the bolt holes is enough to get you where you need even if the bolt itself is not eccentric.

3. Fronts are not progressive. They are not wound like a progressive, and the coil diameter is consistent not tapered, so the wire itself should a linear bias. Rears are definitely progressive.

Thank you....

As a personal appreciation, the upper section of the front springs has the "threads" more closed, if you know want I mean....unlike the lower spring section...
