Eibach Pro-Kit Springs and Sway Bar Review w/ pics

Yes in a perfect world where bumps impact both tires equally and at the exact same time you wouldn't notice the sways at all. But most bumps in my world arnt like that.
I shouldn't say they stiffened the car alot but it was more than i expected.
Driving in comfort is now like sport which is perfect for me.
One real world place the sways have no impact is if you hit speed bump squarly or tar joints. Nice those arn't jaring. So just more firm on un even roads.
Thanks for the follow up. Looking at getting these myself, and that is what I was hoping to hear!

Thanks! I love how the drop looks, it’s about even front and rear. When you get a chance, or anyone else that has the springs installed, can you measure the height from ground to the bottom of the fender, front and rear. Want to see the change in the ride height compared to stock. I prefer a better ride and handling but don’t want to go much lower. I got the rear sway bar on order, hoping that will take care of things on bumpy roads.

I have to say though, since the Nitto Motivo tires have been installed, the few bumps I have been over, the rear fells a bit better. I’ll know more on the really crappy roads I commute on this coming week.

Certainly. I’ll measure tomorrow night. I was looking for more aesthetic than handling to be honest with you. The AWD just sat so high! My parking space at my office is a little uphill, so the car looked lifted.

Did you go look at the first post in this thread? I posted before and after measurements.

You know it’s been ages since I looked at the beginning. Thanks for that! That looks to be the same numbers I got on my AWD car. I thought the RWD was about 1/2” lower, guess I was wrong there. My main concern is not having the car much lower as I did some spring install back in the day and while the shop said it was going to be slammed, that’s what I ended up with. The car did handle better but it rubbed on speed bumps and up incline driveways. My buddy would love that look! I’ll show him as he wants to lower his. Thanks Dajackson!

Wayne - let me know when you get your sways. Did you buy the full kit or just the rear? Are you going to install it yourself or get a shop to do it?

I only got the rear, I'll let you know when it comes in. My buddy over in Brambleton and I will attempt it when it comes in. I'll let you know so you can join in on the "fun". From watching a couple of videos, it might not be too bad to do.

Thanks Wayne. Sure I'd love to tag along.

I’ve not rubbed the subframe or front lip on anything in the 5-6 months I’ve had the springs.

Can you let us know if it cures the back end "Wallow swaggering thing" please.
Ta.

In the Eibach spring install PDF it says:

Tire Rotation: In order to increase the life of your tires, it is recommended to rotate your tires every 3,000 miles.

Is this just one of those legal things, or is it "you may have screwed up your camber and your tires are going to wear unevenly?" RWD owners can't rotate tires front-back (staggered) or left-right (unidirectional).

All lowered cars have a harder time being aligned back to stock alignment. Thus they should be rotated more often.

The Summer tires on the RWD are not directional. They just have an inside and outside.

Interesting... my old PS2s on my BMW were unidirectional. I thought that was still the case with my PS4s. Good to know, thanks.

What are people paying for just a rear swaybar install? I attempted and failed. Driverside is way too tight for my skills and tool selection. This was my "last" upgrade breaking my streak of self installs.

It shouldn’t be more than an hour of labor.
