‘19 AWD Stinger GT with Injen intake, Magnaflow exhaust, new plugs and dyno tune for 93 octane. Dyno’d 395whp/429wtq with those mods. Do those numbers seem about where they should be?

My shop is saying that unless I get into spending pretty big money like larger turbos, that my bang for the buck performance mods are pretty much maxed out. Keep in mind that currently I don’t need to do anything with my daily driver Stinger except remember to pump 93 octane, and I like it that way. No hassle
 
Get a jb4 or custom ecu like lap3/Lozic. Whoever told you that 390ish whp maxed out at that dyno is full of shite lol.

Map2 Jb4 piggyback with your add on mods, people are making 420 to the wheels. I haven't dynod but Im guessing I'm quite comfortably over 420-430 to the wheels. Also keep in mind it also depends if you were using mustang/dyno jet dynos.

Keep in mind that the 420whp that people are getting with those mods are on a RWD car, not AWD like OPs car. If he where to dyno the car in RWD mode, it would come out around that number. However, There is def more power to be had with bolt ons and a JB4 or ECU tune.

Is that because the power being distributed to all the wheels isn't being measured by the dyno? [they're only measuring the rear wheels? or is this parasitic loss with awd?]

Parasitic loss from AWD. 90% of dynos are 2WD, so in some cases its just easier to pop the AWD fuse in these cars, do the pull, and then some basic math and you will get the approximate AWHP

Conservatively, a dedicated ECU tune should net you another 30 whp/70wtq. Look at the Lap3 and Lozic options. They're both proven.

Sounds like your “guy” knows nothing about the platform. Perhaps you should think about that before you fork out any cash to him or even let him touch your car for that matter.
