Eh small correction--the Elantra N is the highest performance Hyundai currently. It's actually more of a competitor to the STi, even thought it has a little less hp. It's more hardcore than the WRX.

Does the Elantra N have better performance than a Velositor N?
Either way, when I said "Hyundai" I was saying that to include the Genesis umbrella. Because the Elantra N is certainly a lower class than the G70

Elantra N and Vesloter N seem to be in line with each other so far, but the Elantra might be slightly better for straight line speed. People are reporting some better than expected 0-60 and quarter mile runs on various Youtube vids.

As for Elantra N versus G70, unless you're talking drag race I'd be willing to bet the Elantra would meet or exceed the G70 on an autocross or twisty road course. Look at the Car and Drive lightning lap results for the G70 and Veloster N:

I'd fully expect the Elantra to be in that range.

The WRX would most likely feel a lot faster on a daily traffic to traffic scenario based on the significant lead off the line compared to the Elantra N
