Anyone hauling their dog in the back yet? Given the low roofline, and non-fold-flat seats, I'd love to see how the pups are dealing with it. Also, how realistic would it be to put the dog in the far back while the seats are up, and just leave the cargo cover off? Yes, I know dogs are different sizes, which is why pics are needed!

I have carried my dogs in my stinger one small and one big German Shepherd. I haven’t tried with seats folded yet. Instead I used the dog hammock type seat protectors. German Shepherd 85 lbs could sit down but he is pretty good and usually lies down. Can post pics later if interested.

Welcome aboard, @OhMyGT! Thank you for signing up. And congratulations on your new Stinger! Yes, I'm sure @ralzod would love to see those pictures - when you have some time... :)

Would love a pic and a link or product name if you could! Going to have to carry my small horse/dog and don't want her on the seats!

Well this is with the dog hammock I have been using seats NOT down. Still looking for a good cloth to put over everything to try sits down. Since the trunk fiber catches hair like crazy, that’s why looks for like bed sheet or something.

This is what I am currently using fits well but will be trying out some other ones in the future got this for wife’s Honda Civic originally.

Beautiful dog !!

Thanks! I'll look into that one. Going to do some exact measurements when I get my stinger back from the paint protection shop.

Yea that’s what I did when I got the hammock originally for my wife’s civic need to do the same for the stinger.

Great discussion. I totally get why one would not want to transport their dog in the Stinger. For me, though, it's one of the main reasons I want the hatchback. I do have the hammock/taco solution in my back pocket, especially for cross-shopping sedans, and I also like them combined with the rigid seat extensions to give the dogs a firmer platform to stand on (especially if the seats are pulled farther forward).

I ended up with something very similar to ohmygt. I got it from Amazon, and it is made by ibuddy. Fits very well. I'll likely get a cloth to cover the trunk cover, since it looks to catch a lot of hair. I like this one because it has a mesh panel that will allow for airflow from the rear vents. It seems very well made, and has a carrying case to store the bag in (though it was a pain to get back IN the bag!).

These anchor the cover by slipping into the divide between the top and bottom of the seats

The sides zip up and have a strap to hold the side up to protect the doors.

The door protection also covers the lower door sill when your pupper is entering or exiting the vehicle.

Both sides zipped up. I need to tighten/loosen some of the straps for a perfect fit, but it is pretty darn close. The side bolsters are interfering a little, but since the material is soft I don't expect any issues.
