Do you have a favorite brand for Ceramic Coating?

Had CQuartz Finest on my last vehicle and wasn't overly impressed. Didn't seem overly hydrophobic but added a nice deep wet look whenever it was clean. Heard good things about Modesto, thinking about going with that or just regularly waxing, haven't decided yet.

This CQuartz or was it different?

I purchased CQuartz UK and will be applying it once I get a nice warm day to do it. No experiences with it but most reviews I read have been really positive.

I Recently put on 22PLE PRO Glass coating, so far extremely happy. car stay's cleaner longer, was done 3 weeks ago and have not needed to wash the card yet. live in Ohio and have had snow, rain, dirt and salt don't seem to stick as bad.

As an installer of several different coatings I will say it's less about the coating itself and much more about the prep and knowledge of the individual installing said coating. I would suggest staying with the large, more well known brands, (CQuartz, Gtechniq, Opti-Coat, Modesta, IGL, Feynlab...). Also be sure to read the fine print on some of the "long-term" or "Lifetime" warranties.

I have 9h and so far so good

Blackfire Pro Ceramic Coating. It was easy to apply (45 minutes), looks amazing, smooth as silk, cost less than $70.00, is 9h+ and lasts 12-24 months depending on how you treat your car.

I bought this amazon.com/gp/product/B01MCVRG9W as it got good reviews and seemed like a good value for a whole kit, while being honest about lasting a year, not making 5-10 year claims. Will let you know how it goes next week.

I've used:
Gyeon Mohs + skin: very nice
Kamikaze ISM and Miyable: excellent
22ple HPC: very very good
Gtech crystal serum light + exoV4: pretty good
wolfgang uber ceramic: not great
migliore strata: meh about average

Carpro UK is the bomb!!!!!!!! Coupled with Reload every wash, car will look insane wet and be extremely hydrophobic!! Car pro has the new version of Cquartz that is even better!! Plus the company is super honest and has great customer service!!!!!!

Used Gtechniq on my other cars and have booked my new stinger to be coated using Gtechniq once its delivered.

My cars that have glass coating are finished with 22PLE and it has been used almost exclusively for nearly a decade. Among those cars, only one has OptiCoat.

Glass or ceramic coating is only as good as the quality of the paint job and the paint surface. Without an excellent preparation or correction, the glass/ceramic coating will only seal in the imperfections. Sure the paint will look shiny, but it's shiny scratches, swirls, and cloudiness. The process needs a paint correction specialist with an OCD tendency.

What he said. I'll throw in the coatings (and products in general) from Garry Dean. Rasky - nice to see you over here. Recognize the name from Autopia

Finished putting on McKee's 37 2 weeks ago. Plan to take a whole day claying and then correcting, correcting, correcting your corrections, and obsessing with flashlights at various angles to see every swirl and scuff.

After that the application was a breeze. We have been getting a lot of rain lately and the water has just been beading off in huge sheets, dirt is similarly easily brushed away.

Mine had Williams Ceramic coating put on it, still early days, car hasn’t got wet since it was applied, so can’t report much yet.
