A pound of rotating mass at triple digit speeds could mean the difference between that 1 ft lead on a Corvette, tho.

I did have front OEM replacements before that were actually 1.5 lbs lighter than stock on a previous car while costing slightly less than the OEM rotors, so of course I got them, lol
