Covered Center Console (Lid over the cup holders)

Not sure where somebody was asking about CF center console but I just found it and as I expected it's not real cf but just cheap glossy vinyl CF look stickers on top of stock black console.
Sorry to disappoint you guys but there is no real oem CF console available. Those someone said are offered by dealaership are most likely just stickers.

Should I be embarrassed to say I like it?

If you do you do but sticker is only on top side and on the edges and nothing in the indentations and you can see edges of this to.
To me it looks cheap but if somebody likes I can get it

In Canada , the base GT came with Carbon Fiber trim , are you sure this isnt real ?? they are making it for this market ??

Just look at the pictures please, it's very obvious and low price just confirms it and there are other pictures showing shape of the stickers. These are just stickers and I'm 100% sure. I don't know if they offer the same thing at dealership or not but you should ask them if what they offer is real carbon fiber or just wrap or hydro dipped cf pattern.
What pictures show is clearly stickers so please find some pictures of what exactly kia offers so we can see.

If you're paying anything less than $100,000 for a car, any carbon fiber on the inside you see is fake.

Now that is pretty. Agree 100% a darker carbon shade would have tied with the interior much better. Not to mention that if you get this you will need to add a lot more carbon parts so it looks uniform.

Auto trader in Canada has a few non Limited GT's that show a CF look trim but the pics are crap . I've asked some local mmebrs if they have any more info , I know the Kia brand mgr that attended the road show said the non Limited's here have a "Carbon Fiber " trim , I dont think a single non Limited GT is on the road here . Whatever CF Kia is sending to Canada is factory , not dealer installed , It cant be real

As said before it is too bright for my taste, and I would have let the part around the AC controls in piano black. But it is not my car so as long as the owner is happy...^^

It's only available in silver. Black ones is what you already have and cup holder doesn't have a cover.

Yes the part on the pictures is stock console wrapped in real cf and this isn't from factory.
As westcoastGT said whatever they are sending to Canada is oem but it sure isn't real carbon fiber console and they aren't hand wrapping it either, it would cost waaaay to much.

So is there a place or link to buy this stuff and do they offer different options for CF color and weave size etc?

I would like to do the complete center console (same as in the pic), door handle surround, L+R A/C vents and the steering wheel, all in standard CF color with matching weave pattern. I think that will turn out pretty nice, let me know what you think.

That silver cf console was wrapped in cf by korean owner of he car or somebody has done it for him. There is no online store or link where you can order this to be done. If you want this done just find a local company who wraps stock parts in real cf. In other words it's customized part.
