Color possibilities

Ric is talking about the metallic yellow which was done for the Seoul show. That one was a one-off and is nowhere available - yet.

OH! That yellow! I just looked it up and saw it. That is SICK and I would definately take that blend of yellow, orange and metallic over the release yellow any day! :)

over the release yellow any day

I have a close-up of that paint somewhere, and you can see the metal flakes. This is the ONLY yellow the car should be painted in. The Sunset Yellow looks way too much like taxi, there's no depth to the paint. Even the Orange color painted for SEMA looks better. IMHO.:)

So two of the most popular colors (dark blue and dark gray) are not coming to the US. <facepalm>

...And a bunch of showroom cars are in the dark blue. <dual facepalm>

What the hell is Kia doing?

There is a dark grey available, it is the Panthera Metal. Also, It hasn't been announced officially but I have heard there is a yellow option possibly called Canary Yellow. Don't have a good idea of what it will look like as you guys have showed all the pics of any yellow on the stinger so far and I work for Kia ...... oh hello btw.

Oh hello to you too....
You may wish to read this and other threads on this forum and additionally visit KIA USA's website https://www.kia.com/us/en/vehicle/stinger/2018/style
before you tell us what is available. It may come as a surprise to you, but all of us already know.:)
And you are incorrect. Panthera or Thunder Grey is at this time not available on the US market.
Welcome to the forum.
Please introduce yourself. :)

Oh that is an awesome yellow. It is a more flat yellow, very similar to Ceramic Silver. That will look good.

I am a Stinger Rep. at a dealership in Georgia that several people have already pre-ordered the Stinger from. My apologies, not trying to troll.

Panthera or Thunder Grey

Yeah. In the states the darkest gray I think will be called Ceramic Silver, which I love color, I just wished it was called Gunmetal Gray (@FluffyBottoms ). I don't know why the states always get the sucky sounding sounding colors, other than maybe EPA regulations or some government body prevents them from mixing the paint because of lead, pencil shavings, the old Big Mac styrofoam boxes or some other enviromental reasons and so they have to remix/remake the colors and change the name. Though, Hi-Chroma Red sounds and looks pretty awesome! Something blue, too, but I don't want to open up old wounds. :)

OK, apology accepted. But still, you are not the only "professional" on this forum, and collectively, we have taken thsi car apart. Taken KIA University on the Stinger yet?
First things first: How is it that you are able to tell us that Panthera is available when the US website says it is not?
Thanks!

I figured I wasn't the professional on here. I have taken the test yes lol. I wished I could have skipped all the videos since I know a ton on the car already. The dealership I work for is a prestige dealership (aka we affect them more so they view us as being important) so we have a little more info. Panthera Metal is available, 8 Ext. colors total.

the darkest gray

May I suggest for ease of communication, to use the 3 letter/numerical code to denote the KIA color we are talking about.

These are the names that KIA uses, the Canadians changed Panthera to Thunder Grey, but the code remained the same.:)

LOL. If this turns out to be true, and I hope for the US customers it will, it confirms what I said earlier, that someone screwed up on the website and simply forgot....which would not surprise anybody here.

So which is the one of the 9 colors above, that's not available in the US?

C45 .... BINGO! :p Hmmm. I would have to see P2M in person.

Deep Chroma Blue sadly. That is what is sitting in my showroom and some have really liked it. Kia is limiting information on purpose, no one just forgot to stick something here or there. The hype of this car is for real though and that is more then likely what they want. I doubt they will mess this car up like they did with the K900.

BTW I haven't learned the color codes, I prefer just to say them. It is not like I have to order the car myself lol.
