ah okay! understood!

I thought slowly creeping forward by letting gently off the brakes are bad in this car?
I don't savvy. What is bad about creeping? Bad for the car, I mean: drivers behind might become annoyed, but that's "a whole 'nuther" issue.

i think it probably comes from the understanding that letting the car "hold" itself on a incline using the torque converter is bad practice but creeping forward isn't bad that i'm aware of on a TC... creeping is not great on a dct since the clutch is slipping but you aren't heating up the torque converter creeping like it would be if it were holding the car on an incline....

Just my thoughts on it... :)

Ohhh for sure. On a manual or DCT, yeah creeping and rolling back and forth is terrible. In a regular automatic its not bad at all.
