Choosing Hi Chroma Red, Deep Chroma Blue and Ceramic Silver

The red on red/black interior looks great! First color I saw in person was the Hi-Chroma Blue but it isn’t available in the US. Love the Ceramic Silver and the Snow White Pearl and the Silky Silver is growing on me. With this car I would like a different interior than black so it’s red or that brown when it comes out.

I agree that the darker Stinger colors unfortunately hide the body lines and curves. White or another lighter color may be the way to go. Although, go with your gut!

Yeah! That’s the dilemma.

Lighter tone of colour is great for presenting the body lines and curves. Darker tone of colour gives the car a mysterious character.....

:cool::D:p;):ninja:

Hm.. is Chroma Blue also very sensitive for swirls like black? I’m not sure .. white .. chroma blue ..
If you've got to think about it go white. Deep chroma blue is for the special people :D:D:rofl::rofl:

Two colors in one: day time purple. Night dark blue. ...strange looking pet you have?

I love all of the colours, tones and depth, Kia did a great job on that. I have a Thunder grey (Panthera) and wanted red interior so in Canada was limited to SWP or black. It took me a couple weeks to decide between the white or grey. I saw both in person in light and dark ambient light. I preferred the way the grey looked in sunlight and I know it sounds weird. The white made the vents and black chrome stand out more but I preferred the subtler look. Anyway, I think given any colour combo I would have picked the blue or ghost grey, they are both extremely unique and fit my perception of the character of the car.

I bought a silky silver, I love it. I owned from red, blue, silver, white and black. That is all the cars from years ago. If i could redo all this i would get that Ceramic Silver.

I’m special too and I’ve got a white car!

I don't think you quite understood what your mother was saying.....

A bump for this thread...I've been dead set on a Ceramic Silver Stinger since I saw that color. Then this weekend, I saw a Hi Chroma Red at a dealership and now I'm rethinking my whole life. the HCR looks magnificent also. Either with blacked out rims would be perfect. It will probably come down the the one I can get the best deal on when I'm ready to pull the trigger.

Been a Stinger recipient now for 44 months i have the DCB, i will say though when polished up the Hi chroma red takes some beating....just sayin' lol.

Kia has their marketing department working overtime naming these colors... as far as I can tell 'hi chroma blue' down under is the same as 'micro blue' in the states... in the US you buy 'ceramic silver', across the border in Canada it's 'ghost grey'. Oh yeah, and they even give it a different name on the US K5... 'wolf grey'!

The Hi Chroma Red is a colour that is difficult to bring out in pictures. The Hue is really awesome and gives an air of sophistication. You have to see it in person at different lighting.
I just bought 2022 GT2 in Hichroma Red. Like you said, the camera just can't display right! It reminds me as a kid when someone had a "candy apple" red! I previously had a black 2020 GT2. This red in my opinion is way better!!
