Hi Guys! So me im pretty much old school on waxes cause im old.....I love Carnauba type waxes cause they produce a glow and a silky smooth finish....but ill try anything if it makes sense and gets good reviews. So I ordered Chemical Guys hydrocharge Spray.....well yes its not the lil bottle of ceramic coating, but its a silica type ceramic spray. I used it over the top of my existing layers of my pristine finish :) . It doesn't flash or get hard to wipe off which is awesome....In cool weather on a cool finish leave it on for at least five to ten mins....thr finish looks even better and now tonite after 24 hours of curing it looks bad azz.....I put a second coat on tonite cant wait to see the finish in the sun tomorrow......I used this on my wheels and this stuff really works wonders...I didnt buff it off the wheels...I just let it even out and shine it does....looks to be like an almost clear coat on the wheels..
so yall might wanna give it a try HydroCharge High-Gloss Hydrophobic SiO2 Ceramic Spray Coating |

Chemical Guys just makes good stuff. I’ve been happy with their products. Although I have not tried the one you used so I will have to do that.

You should get paid from the Chemical Guys for your advertisement because I just ordered a bottle on Amazon. Will add my review later.

Everyone is releasing these ceramic sprays now. Here's my honest take after using the one Mother's makes (CMX). It's very easy to apply and it does make the water bead really well but it won't match the durability of a good wax or even come close to the durability of a real ceramic coating. I use mine as a replacement for the wax as you dry products as a topup between wax applications.

LOL Drew if you watch you tube and the application...forget about it...lol.....with cold paint temps leave it on a good while even 10 mins.....you know they want you to have a clean no wax surface....but my surface is pristine with a whole bunch of wax and detail sprays on it.... so if you look at the contents or smell it....its got Naptha and benzene...so it will melt thru anything that's on your paint.....lol the second coat is smoooooooth and a mirror :)....the wheels love this stuff...spray it on and don't buff....also my hood is ppf and it works well with it
btw 2 coats and wheels used about an inch od the contents....it goes a long ways :) Wash

This is far from a coating. Not sure why they call it that.
While it provides hydrophobic properties when applied it will not nearly as long as a true coating.
Not sure how long those properties will last, but I have been using Mckees37 Hydro blue for 3 years, it's cheaper, leaves a crazy amount of gloss, paint feels ver slick to the touch and I've been able to get 4 months worth of protection on a unprepared paint surface.
Application is extremely easy as well, just spray on wet, clean paint surface and rinse off. That's it.
