Ceramic Silver / Ghost Grey Discussion

With mud flaps - Not sure why KIA didn't include these from the factory

Excellent color choice, welcome to the group! What kind did you get? GT1 here.
Sorry I tried responding and it didn't go through for some reason. Cdn car so they don't really market it that way but it is a GT2.

Ghost Gray here.

I adjusted the filters on my phone's camera and it shows pretty true to actual colour.

What AdamDan said . GT Limited. The call the 2.0 the "GT-Line," I guess because it's an inline 4?

GT-Line = 2.0 I-4
GT = 3.3 V6 base model
GT Limited = 3.3 V6 with extra trimmings

Thanks for the breakdown! Very interesting, but seems confusing to the average buyer doing their research. Also, having two names for our fantastic color is weird.

So true.
I work in downtown Toronto where you usually see pretty much every car there is and I haven't seen another Stinger yet. Made my day yesterday on the way home as a young boy was pointing excitedly at the car as I drove past him.

I actually had to sign something saying I wouldn't export my car to the US. I guess it has something to do with the price, so maybe they are marketed differently for the same car.

Could also have something to do with safety features or emissions standards.

Ok, doing some digging up, I found out a few things.

First, most important point: Canada has a good trade deal with South Korea, while the US doesn't. With both cars being priced similarly in all trim comparisons, our is in CAD while yours is in USD. I've got a list of comparable models (exactly the same as far as I can tell, except the Canadian GT Limited has heated rear seats)

GT Line (CA) - $39,995 CAD = $30,585 USD
2.0 (US) - $32,990 USD

GT (CA) - $44,995 CAD = $34,408 USD
GT (US) - $39,300 USD

GT Limited (CA) - $49,995 CAD = $38,232 USD
GT2 (US) - $50,200 USD

Canada also has far less choices (missing the GT premium and GT1 equivelant)

Edit: GT Line (CA) = 2.0 (US)

You should also note that those are the MSRP values. American's have much stronger cash and lease incentives than we do so rarely, if ever, will they actually be paying MSRP.

Very true. I paid MSRP. I will also note that all of ours are AWD standard, while that's a $2200 USD add on for Americans.
