I hate those things! But for this purpose I'd get one, if the beads of water just fly off ceramic as easy as you say. (For leaves and other detritus, leaf blowers are implements of hell; pretending to clean up when all they do is blow crap around and make a hideous amount of annoying noise.)

I actually just picked up a Toro Power Jet F700 (leaf blower) to dry my car. Was using a crappy one that wasn’t really doing the job

Just to play the devil's advocate here, while I did PPF on the front of the car the rest has simply been manually cleaned and waxed (no ceramic or exotic wax products or coatings) in the summer, and run through a touchless car wash occasionally this winter so the undercarriage gets a regular 'hows your father' to clean off road salts and the like.

Paint looks immaculate, shines brilliantly, and beads water easily. I know ceramic is a popular choice, but I'm not sure if my paint could look any better than it does, to be honest.

For me, it made the red deeper of that makes sense. It also protects it from fading, keeps it glossy, and keeps it more scratch free. But if you take good care of your car and wax it regularly, you’d be good too IMO.

Yes, they do promote the 'hardened' coating that it is supposed to provide an increased measure of protection - just not sure how much additional protection it actually brings to the party, or how long it really lasts. As for the other benefits, those are the traditionally touted benefits of a good quality sealer/wax.

Not knocking the product, and hope it works well for those who have invested the money and/or time and effort for application. Just somewhat skeptical of some of the claims I've read.

Got mine done before winter and also got a glass treatment.. Still works nice, and here they use alot of salt. Dont have to use windshield wipers above 40 km/h as everything just runs off, same with the body, hardly any dirt sticks for a week, so I just do a wash every other week and get the deep wet look right back.

Love it, it was a ceramic coat by Ditec here, not sure what they use, was like 400 EU with a 5 year lifetime if you follow their updates.

Got a bad knee and back so washing the car isnt fun, this has reaaaaally helped through the first winter atleast.
