Center console wrap

Instead of spending $450 on importing the center console in silver, I decided to spend $50 and get it wrapped in matching color. I think it's 50$ well spent.

Dude. It's the center console. Where the gear shift is. For you GT owners it's already brushed aluminum, but for us 2.0 it comes glossy black.

Canadians get the best looking center console. A real nice faux un-gaudy carbon fiber.

Looks much better than our aluminum consoles and its probably more durable.

OP, how does/has the piano black console hold up? I'm sure it loves smudges and fingerprints but how does it do with scratches and dents?

I haven't had it long enough to see any scratches. But the finger prints and smudes put me over the top.

Yes, but that faux carbon fiber is only on the standard GT model here in Canada. What most Canucks are buying is the GT Limited model which comes with the brushed aluminum. If I could do a swap of the console, I probably would. Surprised the OEM Korean market does not offer that.

"Faux" and "un-gaudy" do not mix with CF. Carbon Fiber is *only* good when it's real. Fake CF is bad no matter where it is.

Went to the lot to check it out the GT, yeah it’s got carbon.
