Carbon Fiber Hood Low Pressure Struts - CHEAP!!!

If anyone is curious there is a low pressure strut alternative over the $80+ units most of the sites are selling.

The OEM struts:
12" about 105 lbs of pressure

Aftermarket websites(I called the manufacturing companies to check):
12" about 45 lbs of pressure

I used the ones below, perfect fit and pressure!

That is not a strut for carbon fiber hoods, it's just a prop rod ("hood prop"), wrapped in or made from carbon fiber.
