Canadian Buyers - How much did you pay vs. MSRP?

Plus tax. $2,500 below MSRP.

Just out of curiosity, did you start much lower? Just trying to gauge other peoples success at getting closer to 10% off MSRP. 5 isnt bad, but thats pretty standard.

Not really no. From my research the maximum discount buyers were getting on the LTd was $3,000. As this was a ‘19 and they were just arriving, I was happy with $2,500. What I paid was $4,000 less than my local dealership quoted me.

What helped seal it was accessories at cost. $750 taxes in for Xpel ppf gold package is untouchable.

From what I can see nobody in this thread really got a good deal on their car.
This is not an m3 and they don't have that kind of profit margin to cut 10% off MSRP. In other words if your waiting for 5k off, keep waiting. Or just go buy an m4.

Can you tell us in what Province and dealer you went to? Also what's the diff between the 18 and 19 gt limited? I couldn't find any accessories on the site so I didn't know what they had.

Thanks

There is no difference between 18 and 19 GT Limited. Only difference in Canada is the addition of the 2.0 T.

I just got quoted $40998 before tax for the 2018 GT's over at Kia West in Coquitlam, BC. This is after the $3k cash price discount. $42998 for the financing option with the $1k finance discount. Is that a good price? They're the only local dealer that has a Ghost Grey.

Dealer cost on the GT is about 41,500. You should be able to get a bit better on the finance discount. Are they charging an admin fee? The finance rate is pretty good on the 18’s. Not sure if the BoC rates going up will affect future car finance rates. Might be a good time to snatch that bad boy up!

Just to confirm:
$49,500 (PDI, Delivery, Colour Charge, Other Levies such as PDE, admin, tire stewardship) + SaskTax(11%)? = ~$57,808

On top of that you got dealer cost accessories, including PPF?

~$55k including taxes and all of the items you had in brackets.

On top of the $55k I added dealer accessories at cost including ppf. I also paid for delivery to Regina. My final number was $57,800

They are offering $2,000 off plus free winter tires now on Kia Canada so that's the least a dealer should do for you now. I am considering a Stinger GT to replace my 2016 Golf R.

Right now all new stingers are being offered free winter tires. Quality based on trim level, but ultimately at the discretion of the dealer. Also, 2018 models are being offered $3,000 off the sticker price. You said $2,000, was that a mistake?

Have you test driven this car yet? Do you own one??

I'll be very honest with you. I've owned a multitude of vehicles in the past, from a Smart diesel cabriolet, to a corvette C6 Z06, a Nissan GT-R all the way to a 2009 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL63 (which originally stickered in Canada at $174K). Up to the Stinger, the AMG was the overall nicest vehicle my wife and I ever owned. Not any more. We both agree that the Stinger (Limited edition) is currently at the top of the pile. It's loaded with every electronic nanny and bell and whistle you can imagine, goes like stink, sporty but still comfortable on a long trip, hatchback with more cargo room than you expect, more rear leg and head room than pretty much any other "sports car" that I've ever owned, looks "badass" and draws just as much attention on the road as my GT-R (which says A LOT 'cause the GT-R attracted a TON of attention!), can be driven all year long with winter wheels and tires, comes with a 5 year/100K km warranty and with a measly $800 ECU tune, intakes and spark plugs, can get you north of 500 crank HP! It ain't perfect, but pretty damn close!!! At $47.3K plus H.S.T., it's an absolute steal!!! I absolutely LOVE this car!!!

Hi I just vaught a stinger as well fun little car have you done a tune exhaust pr plugs intakes yet

45,500 out the door with a nice set of winter rims and tires for a 2018 GT - smoking deal I think :)
