I recently purchased my 2019 Kia Stinger GT1. It already has some of the mods that I would have done to it already. (Cold air intakes and cat-back exhaust) I want to hear more of the blow off sound than what I get out from the intakes. I have been between getting the HKS and the GFB with the trumpet attachment. I think the sound of the HKS is cool, but I feel that with two of them it would be obnoxiously loud and get annoying. I also like the more reserved sound of the trumpet on the GFB. I want to know if 1. It's possible to have one of each and 2. If this is just a stupid idea or not. I know I may run into an issue with different spring pressures, but the GFB does have adjustable springs. Any information or insight into this would be appreciated.

Yeah I would not mix the two bov that run on different spring pressure. It wouldn't work well and would sound weird.

I have the hks and gfb 9012. Gfb is hard to beat for the quality, adjustability for spring, trumpets and being able to run recirculation mode. Hks chirping gets kinda annoying after a while IMO and some tens to do the solenoid bypass mod to get them to sound louder.

The gfb can be run also with solenoid bypass mod where you have the tighten the spring more to get it to sound properly. I did it for a while and went back to stock configuration. I run the gfbs always now. The stock trumpets honestly sound really good! A nice loud whoosh sound. Sometimes I put the trumpets on that just sound so unique. :)

Are either of those the adjustable type? If not, why not grab one of the ones that lets you dial in how much it vents (ie how loud) and how much it recirculates?

The hks is not adjustable unless you want to take it apart and inspect it. You can adjust the gfb how much to vent or recirculate. It's pretty awesome.

Yes they are...

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If you want to get an idea of how the gfb sounds in 100% VTA setting with spring set to near stock level but just slightly looser I recorded a video few nights back:

I have the k&n intakes, bms intercooler, ark dp, and mbrp pro active with jb4. I run map 3 with e30 mix pretty much all the time. It's really loud but sounds pleasant to the ears. The whisling trumpets sound awesome too. I have a video of them as well:

Haha yeah I gave up. It was working for a while and then decided nope I am not special enough 🤣
