Buying a piggyback... what one?

The actual ECU tunes will shit on JB4 and pro tunes....ECU TUNE > piggy back..........ECU tune will outperform the piggy box
That is the consensus. They’re both great if the car can handle that extra. They’re just two different things for two different customers. That’s it. Case closed. lol

Lol. That’s a little extreme... Nobody’s saying a piggyback will outperform an ECU tune, but saying it will “shit on” the JB4/LAP3 is nonsense.:cautious:

ECU tunes undoubtedly have more potential due to finer tuning capabilities & removing stock ECU limits. But the facts show that Stingers with JB4/LAP3 basically match the power gains and 1/4m times of ECU tunes at the moment. If you look at everyones dyno & 1/4m results they are within a few HP & .1-.2secs of each other with same upgrades.

ok wont argue with you....by your response you have a piggyback.....

A guy that I know in person is going for 500whp around next week, with the ProTuner and some upgraded hardware (still with stock turbines).
LAP3 will probably make an announcement after testing is over.

You're right, currently the cars running the best times and putting the best numbers down on the dyno are the piggyback tunes. Until the ecu tunes can beat them, they're tops, theoretical performance is just that until it becomes reality.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
