Brake Pad Hardware

I'm getting ready to change my pads and rotors on my '22 GT1, and the kit I received didn't include new pins and clips for the pads. How important is new hardware or is it safe to use the original? The car has ~33k miles on it.

Unless the pins are worn or seriously corroded, they are reusable. Just clean them up real nice before reassembly. The clips are no always required for the new pads. Some aftermarket brake pads come with their own backing plates.
