3.3TT Borla Exhaust with Akrapovic Tips

Does anybody have a borla exhaust with the akrapovic tips?? I’m looking to purchase some but need the right size (Inlet and Outlet).

Yeah I have to agree, as I have the Jun BL down pipes , with the Borla cat back exhaust and I hardly even use the car stereo , and just so I can listen to the different notes coming from my Borla exhaust lol

You don't "need" the tips per se. Everything is subjective, but the level of sound coming from the Borla is much higher than stock. The bumper mounted OEM exhaust "tips" don't funnel enough of the noise out of the back. It tends to reverb back under the car, thanks to that big sexy hatch, and make cabin noise louder. The tips kill that by forcing the sound out past the bumper.

The Akrapovic are the best option IMO. There are others, but if you get the ovals you don't have to trim. You will have to trim if you go with round or some other shape. IDK if they're Akrapovic, but some are running chrome oval tips that look just like OEM.

Are there any exhaust tips that can simply be slid over the current stock exhaust tips or replaced? If I go with exhaust tips I want ones that stick out even further outside the bumper and are larger... and titanium blue... something that looks aggressive and very sporty...

I got these from AliExpress. 51 out size A ovals.

Brand new and never installed as I have removed the Borla and gone back to stock. These should not need any cutting on the diffuser.

I have the Borla tips with the Borla exhaust, and I wonder, does anyone know whether the current Borla S-Type for the 3.3T will fit the updated 2022 Stinger? My tips probably won’t fit anymore but I wonder if I can still re use the exhaust if I decide to upgrade.

I have a friend who’s arko lettering yellowed from the heat on the carbon. I would avoid any tips that have decals on them. I had custom lengths done no charge as I wanted the outer tips shorter to reduce projection. They cut them down for me.
