BMS Trans Cooler

The temps dropped drastically with the BMS trans cooler. I would see the trans temp get over 200°F before the trans cooler. Now with the trans cooler I think the highest I have seen is 180°F during the summer heat. I have had it for awhile. I think its worth it and its an easy install.

Something I am looking at too. Yesterday I drained and refilled my ATF for the first, the old fluid looked brand new, just as good as the new fluid going in, clear bright red color, no odor or anything. This is at 41K miles, and many runs at the drag strip launching at 2700 RPM.

Anyone running the bms transmission cooler kit? Highly considering it for the fact that it extends the life of the trans, provides cooling, and better performance.
I just installed this cooler. Have you had any problems with small leaks coming from your by pass valve ( the part with the 2 o rings on each side ) that's connected to the bms cooler

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I know this post is a bit old but just thought I'd share an idea that might help you ( or others that install this cooler ).

Firstly, I'd say you nicked an O-Ring during installation.

I installed one of these ( V2 ) not long ago and noticed that the ports that the tubes go into and "not the best".

There's a better than average chance that the edges can catch the O-Ring/s and cause a leak.
To negate that risk, I lightly chamfered the edges and used rubber grease on the O-Rings during installation.
While doing the chamfer, I had the ports blocked and the outlets facing down to stop any chance of debris getting in.

So far, dry as a bone ( fingers crossed it stays that way ).

Have one installed and very happy with the temps. Looks like BMS has a new version which connects to the OEM connection.

That's the one I have fitted.

With a little trimming you can keep the shroud too.

And with the intercooler I have, it all fitted in nicely ( below pic was during test fitting before re-installing the shroud ).
