One of the BMS Stinger hard parts we're currently testing. BMS Stinger Tial BOV Kit.

Sounds good, should hold boost a little better between gears, and retains full computer control of the valve

So bad ass.. I can’t wait!!!

Nice! What's the benefit of using 1 or 2 bov?

No specific reason to use 1 vs 2 other than venting capacity. The stinger uses 2 probably because they already had one designed for the elantra sport and was easier/cheaper to add a second one for the needed capacity of the 3.3, than design and spec a new one. A 50MM Hi flow BOV ( tial/turbosmart/etc) should provide enough flow to vent 1000+ hp

Does this actually (REALLY) do anything other than make noise?

Nice Terry! If you need some additional reviews and testers when you finish the product I would gladly help out :D

BOV's/re-circulation valves are required to eliminate damaging compressor surge on throttle closure under boost. OEM plastic recirc valves are notorious for leaking boost, failing over time and increased boost level. A Fast responding BOV with a lightweight piston design also improves boost recovery between shifts, and can also help at launch when transitioning from vacuum to boost. This particular one will help a tuned car in the areas above, but for a stock car it's not necessary

Thanks for the info!

Is this for the adaptor flang or the whole setup?

In terms of whether it does anything other than making sound, we'll have to see. I suspect at stock boost levels it won't. But at higher boost levels it will help hold boost better. In any event it looks and sounds good, so we're moving forward with a small batch of 25 units.

Kit will include the plug and play adapter, authentic Tial BOV (with serial number! Lot's of counterfeits out there) with correct spring for the application (spring rate TBD), and caps for the factory DV tubes. Have not finalized pricing yet but shooting for the $429 range at least for the first 25 kits.

Not sure how I missed this post. But that looks great @Terry@BMS Thanks for developing this part. Looking forward to the release.

Any further information on this single valve design? I know a few people that would snap this up in a heartbeat.

Since you were down there looking at the BOVs... do you see any reason or benefit to upgrading the stock hot side IC piping?

These are a lot quieter than the HKS kits I've seen (a good thing). Have you considered molding the DV caps onto the flange? Would clean up the look and prevent than tubes from flopping around.
