What is the point of installing the meth kit, when you can't tune the car ?!?

Thats not true at all. You can run more boost, cooler IATs and more fuel the JB4 runs a specific WMI map or you can add running meth across the board.

The stock ECU, without assistance from a tune or piggyback (which is still a tune, it's just external) can't and won't do any of those things.

ummmm. you realize the OP and most that are running them are using the JB4 right?

Yes. I also realise that I was answering Yaro, who was not the OP, and my suspicion is that s/he is not running a JB4.

Did you order that online? I have seen it for sale online and have been wondering what the hazmat shipping cost would be? I have no idea where I would find it in my area.

Just find a performance shop and have them order it for you. It’s around $20 per 5 gallons.

I got mine from a local shop when they put in their monthly order for methanol/e85/race fuel. You just have to dilute it yourself for an accurate mixture.

No idea, I'm on BM10 nozzle but I don't switch maps unless I know I need it. I've had my gallon in there for a bit now.

WMI only kicks in at WOT so unless you are doing a lot of track days it lasts quite a while. I've only gone through 2-3 gallons in 5000 miles.

If you're WOT for more than 8 seconds you're already in "go straight to jail" territory so I try not to make a habit of it.

I asked this question to the BMS team and I was told it's not only at WOT its when boost reaches 9psi. See below.

"JB4 controls when meth is sprayed. Map 8 is the methanol map. It will only spray when the set boost is reached. On your car it will be 9psi.
When 9psi of boost is reached meth will start spraying. JB4 controls meth spray through the FSB you get with the kit."
