Hard water is the main causation. Chemicals offered as car care products can have a detrimental effect in combination. Too much of a good thing, I'm thinking. Simple is best. Start with hot, soft water and microfiber (or at least 100% cotton terrycloth). Try isopropyl alcohol. If these do not phase the spotting, hazing, discoloration, then I would get Kia involved at that point. But if you've applied some combination of car care products then the dark chrome finish is possibly permanently stained. Kia might fight warranty then.
