I like tuning that actually achieves something, or just light tasteful stuff. When the rest of the car doesn't "back it up" it just ends up looking like a clown-car IMO. I did stuff to the engine and powertrain, but even the Borla exhaust was pretty normal-looking, not a bit fart-pipe like you see on some of the WRXs. That's where people would be putting outrageous size exhaust tubes that were far beyond what their actual HP called for...or any HP they could ever hope to get out of the engine.

So far, I have the simple side skirts (and mud flaps) to help cut down on any road crap thrown up by the tires, 8.5" wide aftermarket wheels with 255 tires (more traction), the black lip spoiler (mainly for the black trim that kind of matches my other car) and that's it. I'm on the fence about getting my hood wrapped like what my other car came with OEM, but giant spoilers, slammed suspension, huge splitters, widebody fenders...I just don't get the point.

that's true not everything is needed but definitely nice! well at least to me lol. I would love the body kit! going to buy it pretty soon it's not at a bad price at the moment.

Is this the same wing from eBay on the red Stinger? I was looking at that one myself as I don't really like any of the common duckbill ones (I like the full decklid duckbills, but I don't like carbon fiber and they're all carbon fiber for some reason)...

And I actually still have the wing in the picture since the owners car got written off before I could install it and he told me to keep it.

Is it hot garbage? How's the quality? Thoughts on it? Thx
 
Quality is pretty good for an ABS plastic wing. I was going to ( and would suggest ) installing some reinforcement bracing & fasteners in addition to the 3M tape when mounting. My gut feeling is that it would be OK on the streets but at highway speeds and above, I think it would break off and fly into someone's windscreen.

I've installed a number of "wings" on cars from the shell style on mine up to a structurally reinforced/braced $3000 Carbon Fiber GT race wing and the one we're talking about is good but at the bottom end of the scale IMO.

Honestly, it looks a bit more solid ( but it would have to be to not snap the mounts at highway speeds with that configuration ) but otherwise, I'd say it's probably similar.
