big wing spoiler?

so I found this picture online and wanted to see what you guys think about the big spoiler in the back. I've always thought that the stinger would look pretty good with a low but big wing spoiler like this one. my personal opinion of course but I do want your thoughts on it.

got to enjoy the car to the fullest while I'm still young with no kids. I originally planned on buying an s2000 and converting it into a rocket bunny. sadly because of my job and everything I needed something more useful than a project car sadly. now that I have the stinger! I want to put my money into the car and change it up as new parts come out. will most likely buy a beater honda once I change the ECU 7 tcu. widebody kit. and things like that.

I have seen pics of wide body Stingers, with the rocker panels half an inch off the ground and the tops of the rims lost in the fenders; at least one member on here has corrupted his lovely Stinger that way @NICK_KHAR is their king.

You may be able to rekindle the s2000 days after all. Honda is looking to re release (rumored) the s2000 in 2024.

You got some nice plans there. Any chance of you wrapping your Stinger before you do your wide-body kit and big wing thing?
The reason I ask is I have a CDN Atomic(bomb)Blue GT Limited and I would hate to see all that crap on a Blue Stinger. So if you haven’t thought of it please do. But hey all kidding aside, your Stinger your vision for it, do your thing proudly and don’t listen to the asshats around here. Me however, again please consider my suggestion and do not decimated your Beautiful Blue Stinger. Cheers.

I will most likely paint the car. A lot of random bs on the freeway has hit my car that I sadly could not have avoided and people backing up into to the point that I need to paint the car or else it’s going to but me forever!!! I appreciate the post! Will def look into this before pulling any triggers!

If the rest of your car looks like the picture, then yes. I say that assuming that it's being raced competitively, given the mods. If it's for show, hell no.

I'll be installing a wing on a friend's car for him soon. I'll sit it on mine and take some pics just to give you a different idea option.

well at the moment I do have a front lip splitter pretty similar to the one in the picture. The next mod would have to be catless secondary and the lozic tcu and ECU to shoot some massive flames out this bad boy. after that I will most likely either go for a new intercooler and then the wide body kit. I haven't found any real trunk-mounted spoilers that would fit the car nicely at the moment. I would want a big wing but low profile I guess.

as of competitive racing. I do be doing them races but I wouldn't say they're the most legal races. the Sanoma raceway is pretty close by to me so I definitely want to take the car there! the car will look pretty similar to the one in the picture except for the bumper because it is different and I believe the wide body kit would also be different

definitely!! just mainly trying to see what others think about the wing but it doesn't really seem like people like to stray away that much from the original look which is understandable! It's a very nice looking car off the bat but then again they got their own stinger and I got mine

wing spoilers just don't seem to fit the lines of the car. They always look so out of place. But if the car is like that rendering, I think it looks pretty good. At least from that angle. But it needs all the other stuff to go with it to make it fit. The widebody, air suspension, wheels with perfect fitment, front splitter, etc. Without all of that other stuff, it just doesn't look right to me. But its your car, so if you like it, that's all that matters

Lowered with a body kit, it will at least work aesthetically. But is it needed? Unlikely. Even with upgraded handling bits, the car weighs too much to ever corner enough to need the down force. The transmission gearing will limit any downforce needs on the upper end.

IMO this is a ricer addon for the car. I'd focus on getting the handling and engine where you want it, then spend the money on gas/enjoy it. Heck, get the paint fixed and a vinyl/Xpel wrap (or ceramic coat) instead.
