Just recently bought 2.0T - Injen Intake System
Was looking into the jb4 but scared the dealership will be able to tell from the codes and void my warranty, Any other recommendations?

Congrats from another 2.0T owner!

The JB4 can be set back to Map 0 (stock) and removed in about 5 -10 minutes, depending on whether or not you leave the ODBII cable. It's the biggest bang-for-the-buck modification. Note that running the ODBII cable through the firewall on our cars is more difficult than it should be due to the manual parking brake.

BTW, the open intake systems are LOUD. When I first started up my car with the K&N Typhoon intake I thought I left a vacuum hose off. The turbo hiss becomes immediately noticeable at startup and under boost. Some people love the sound so ymmv.

On the JB4, you'll want to get colder and properly gapped plugs. Fortunately this job is infinitely easier than on the V6 models.

Thanks! I see we’re kinda rare here I’m glad to see another, and hopefully I won’t mind the vacuum sound too much. I’m curious what all you added to get jb4 map 2 and how many gains from it, I really wana pull the trigger on it. Appreciate your help

Map 2 just needs 93 octane gas. The general consensus appears to be that any Map requires colder plug such as the HKS. I replaced the plugs with HKS but didn't gap them down beyond how they came.

Map 2 really opens the top end up but don't expect +100 hp. There's another thread in here where someone dyno'd their 2.0T and it showed huge gains, but he also had other mods (downpipe, exhaust, etc).
